Drishti IAS Reports ₹364 Crore Revenue and ₹61 Crore Profit in FY2024–25

Drishti IAS, one of India’s long-established coaching institutes for the UPSC Civil Services and other competitive exams, has announced its audited financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. According to multiple financial reports, the institute’s operating revenue for FY 2024–25 stood at ₹364 crore, while its profit after tax (PAT) was ₹61 crore. These figures are drawn from audited accounts and have been reported by major business news outlets.

The results show a moderation compared with the previous fiscal year, when Drishti IAS reported about ₹405 crore in revenue and ₹90 crore in profit after tax. Both revenue and profit declined year-on-year, with profit falling around 32 % from the prior year.

According to statements accompanying the financial data, the institute attributed the year-on-year change partly to accounting adjustments under Indian accounting standards and a broader normalisation in the offline coaching market after unusually high post-COVID enrolments. As classroom admissions stabilised across major centres, overall revenue trends reflected that sectoral shift.

Drishti IAS was founded in 1999 by educator Dr. Vikas Divyakirti and has since grown into a significant provider of both offline and online coaching for civil services and related competitive examinations. The institute operates multiple centres across cities such as Delhi, Noida, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Jaipur, Indore, Ranchi and Patna, and has expanded its offerings to include new programmes and digital content.

The institute is navigating a competitive landscape of UPSC and state PCS coaching, where both offline and online models now coexist. Analysts note that many established coaching institutions are recalibrating their operations as student enrolments return to pre-pandemic patterns.

No allegations of misconduct or financial irregularities related to these FY 2024–25 figures have been reported in the audited accounts or in the mainstream coverage of the results.
